Welcome to Day 4 of my #Blogmas 12 Days of Christmas! Today’s all about the products I’ve recently run out of. Spoiler: I loved them all.
Caudalie Instant Detox Mask
Clay masks and I haven’t always gotten along. I used to love them, but when my acne got worse I got too paranoid to use them. I tried this one a couple months ago when I first got it and then left it in my drawer untouched. I came back to it a couple weeks ago when my skin was particularly bad, deciding to give it another try and see what happened, and… I loved it. I left it on only until it was dry and then washed it away and afterwards my skin felt so clean. It seemed to help my spots and didn’t cause anymore. I definitely will be repurchasing it.
Caudalie Beauty Elixir
I’ve talked about this before, and I’m so sad that I’ve come to the end of another bottle. This is a solid favourite in my skincare routine, so I will definitely be picking up another.
Drunk Elephant TLC Babyfacial
I’m sure if you follow anything in the skincare world you’ll have seen this mask. People rave about it. I got a little travel size of it in my Allure box a couple months ago, so I decided to give it a try. I LOVED it. I never ever see a difference in my skin immediately, not with any products I try. But I used this at night and in the morning I couldn’t believe how smooth my skin felt! I will be repurchasing it – sadly as a Canadian I will have to do so in the States, because I haven’t found it in Canada yet.
Origins Out Of Trouble Mask
This mask is so nice! I’ve mentioned it before, but I use it at least once a week! Because it’s not a clay mask I can leave it on for longer and it never dries out my skin. This mask alone has made me a huge fan of Origins.
Patchology Flashpatch Rejuvenating Eye Gels
Another product from my November Allure box. I’ve never tried eye masks before, but I got these at the perfect time. I put these in the fridge before I used them and they were so relaxing. I also really love how easily they stayed on my eyes, most sheet masks fall off lots but these stuck on nicely! I did get one or two little tiny spots because of this, but that happens if I put anything to hydrating and rich under my eyes. I won’t be repurchasing, but if I wasn’t acne prone I would!
Farmacy Green Clean Cleansing Balm
You can read more about my thoughts here. But I’d like to add one thing – I said in my review that a critique people had was that it didn’t take off eye makeup, I think this is wrong! I never wear waterproof makeup because I find it too hard to take off, but I picked up a waterproof mascara for a funeral. This mascara held up against hours of crying and rubbing my eyes – but 15 seconds of massaging in this cleansing balm and it was gone. No fuss, no pain, and so easy. So this balm gets another thumbs up from me! I’ll be getting the full size of this next time I repurchase.
That’s what I’ve run out of this month! How about you? Any products you’ve tried recently that you loved or hated?
