Farmacy Green Clean Cleansing Balm

This is, by far, the most luxurious feeling product I own. I got a sample of this cleansing balm in the Sephora Clean Beauty box, and I wasn’t sure if I was going to like it. Still, I decided to throw it in my skincare bag when I went on holiday. After a two am wake up, three and a half hours driving, and a three-hour flight, my skin was not feeling its best. I put a small amount on my hands and rubbed it into my face and no joke – it was love at first try.

I would compare the texture of this product to coconut oil – literally melting onto your skin. A couple of reviews I have read said that people find their skin a little oily after using this, but in my case, I don’t find that to be true. I have acne-prone, sensitive skin but this hasn’t caused any breakouts or irritation for me. Another critique I have heard is that it doesn’t take off all eye makeup, which I do agree with, but I always take off my eye makeup with micellar water anyways so I don’t find it to be an issue.

I love to use this as a first cleanse, usually followed by my Glossier Milk Jelly. This combo leaves my skin feeling so clean but still hydrated. I wasn’t looking for an extra step in my cleansing routine, but I’ve found one. I love this product and have already repurchased it (as you can see here!), it is such a lovely step to my skincare routine and one I definitely look forward to!
