My Favourite Hair Products

Not because you asked, but in case you were curious, here are my favourite hair products!

All of these are cruelty-free and vegan, meaning they have not been tested on animals, and there are animal products included in them (minus the Memory Mist – they haven’t stated if this product is vegan, it is cruelty-free). They are also all paraben and sulphate free.

Pureology Strength Cure Shampoo & Conditioner

They do tell you how awful bleaching your hair makes your hair feel, but nothing could prepare you for the first time you wash your hair. My long, previously healthy hair, felt like straw in my hands. I immediately looked up the best shampoo and conditioners for bleached hair, bit the bullet (this stuff is expensive!), and I couldn’t have been happier with it. Before this stuff, I was using a hair mask every time I washed my hair, but this conditioner makes my hair feel nicer than the mask was, and it saves me so much time.
This stuff is definitely worth the money and considering I only wash my hair every 5-7 days (you read that right), it’ll last me a while!

I blowdry my hair every time I wash it, otherwise, it takes hours to dry and ends up a frizzy mess. This is where the Ouai Memory Mist spray comes in. I was hesitant at first about this stuff, as it claims to hold your style longer and protect your hair from UV rays. I started using it as my heat protector and, honestly, I kinda fell in love. It makes my curls stay in nicely and doesn’t leave my hair feeling like there’s anything in it. One warning, personally I hate the smell, but I don’t find that it lingers. The second product in this category is Mermaid Spray. I was given this spray as a gift, it’s a homemade essential oil spray. I haven’t started using this yet, but I have high hopes and I’ll do a review on it after a couple months of use! (The beautiful bottle is from Amber & Gold)

These last two are by the same brand Verb. I have the Ghost Oil and the Ghost Hairspray. I use the oil when my hair is wet, running a pump of it through my whole head with my hands. It doesn’t have a strong smell and doesn’t weigh down my hair, but it helps keep my hair shiny and frizz-free. The hairspray is nice as well, it does smell like a typical hairspray, but it doesn’t feel like one. Its a light hold that is easy to brush out.

So that’s it! Check out some of my other favourite things here!

All of these opinions are completely my own. This post is not sponsored.

The Pureology brand is one of my favs! It always makes my hair so soft. I’ve never heard of the Verb brand but I may have to look into it, it sounds amazing! Enjoyed reading this!
